VDP·Impose

Variable data merge from CSV/list → PDF/image template (sized from TrimBox) → cut & stack imposition, front & back. Runs entirely in your browser.

Load variable dataPaste a CSV, upload a .csv file, or paste a plain one-item-per-line list.

First row is a header
Treat as simple list (one value per line, single column "Value")
Uploading a file replaces the pasted text above.

Upload templatesA single-page PDF (vector, kept as-is — page size taken from the TrimBox, with bleed preserved from the MediaBox) or a PNG/JPG image. Add a back template for two-sided jobs.

Back template (optional — for two-sided print)remove

Tip: if the front upload is a 2-page PDF, page 2 is used as the back automatically — no separate upload needed. Upload here only to override it or to use a different file.
No back template — job will be treated as single-sided

Place variable fieldsDrag to move, drag the corner handle to resize (controls text wrap width / alignment box). The dashed amber line marks the TrimBox — field positions are relative to it. Click a field to edit it.

Generate merged PDFOne page per data row — two pages per row (front then back) if a back template is loaded, so a two-sided job is a single PDF ready for duplex printing. Pages keep the template's full bleed; the TrimBox is recorded as metadata for the Impose step.

Cut & stack impositionGrid layout, bleed handling, and printer's marks use the same logic as your Impose tool — ported in, running locally.

Scale to fill each cell (uncheck for true/natural size)
Center the imposed block on the sheet
Crop marks
Marks inside gutters
Center marks
Knockout (small white box behind each mark)
Registration color (mark prints on every separation, not just black)
